models Section Repair Molds have proven
themselves in the field over many years due to their stability and quick set up

In response to the market demand for a flexible Tire repair system which will
enable the repair shop to use one
system for a larger range of tires, VULCAN-VULCAP has
redesigned and is offering the
VULCAN-VULCAP Vulcaflex® Truck & Tractor Tire Repair System as described in detail below. We
believe this will
further enhance and compliment our complete line of Tire Repair Machinery.

The
VULCAN-VULCAP
Vulcaflex®
Truck &
Tractor Tire Repair System with
the Vulcatouch®
Control System offers the most advanced method of curing Truck and Tractor tire section repairs on one system to the
professional tire repairman. The
system uses an outside flat airbag, an outside and inside thermocouple
heatpad and an inflatable cylinder airbag to accomplish distortion free
repairs on radial, bias and low profile tires. The
cylinder bags are lightweight, durable and easy to position in the tire.
The system adjusts perfectly to the contour of the tire for
distortion-free repairs of radial, bias ply, low profile, wide base and
skidder or tractor tires.
Ratchets
provide maximum tensioning with minimum force.
High test abrasion resistant webbing guarantees maximum strength. |

PLEASE NOTE: A VULCAN-VULCAP Vulcaflex® Vulcatouch® VTCP PLC Panel is required for each Vulcaflex® Truck & Tractor System purchased.
An experienced Tire Repair Professional can extend repairs with this system to larger OTR tires, provided a “T” is added to the air line to be able to use an additional Outside Airbag. Also larger Airbags and Heatpads matched to the additional outside larger tire sizes must be purchased.

VULCAN-VULCAP Industries Inc. is
proud to introduce the latest development in control technology for the curing
of repairs
of Truck and Tractor
tires.
This
is a small PLC based Control System with many advanced safety features similar
to our larger Vulcatouch®
OTR Control System, but at a lower cost.
Reliable PLCs have long been utilized in automobile engines, robots and
production machinery.
Now VULCAN-VULCAP
has
developed a second, smaller easy to use Control System using a reliable PLC.
This technology with a monochrome white on blue touch screen, thus the
name Vulcatouch®,
is custom programmed to perform and monitor your truck
and tractor tire repair
vulcanizing cycle.
Features of the Vulcatouch®
Truck and Tractor Control System:

Easy to operate 6”
Monochrome Touch Screen as operator interface.
· Light
weight, compact control box.
· Curing temperature, pressure and curing time settings are done with a
touch of a finger tip.
· Ability to
attach 2 additional auxiliary thermocouples for extra monitoring of temperatures
during the
curing of the
repair.
· Digital
temperature controls and
display of Inside and Outside Heatpads plus amperage indicators.
· Automatic
control of Inside/Outside Airbag pressure.
· Audio Alarm
– Continuous beep to indicate overheating.
Machine will shut off power to Headpads.

– Continuous beep to indicate excessive air pressure in Airbags.
Machine will
exhaust air
until set air pressure is reached.

if one or both Heatpads malfunction at beginning or during cycle.

VULCAN-VULCAP Vulcaflex® Basic
Digital Thermocouple Heatpad Control Panel is an economical and
practical alternative to our full version Vulcaflex® Digital Control System.
This handy little, portable Control Panel is an excellent
solution for repair shops who want a safe and reliable system to control
Thermocouple Heatpads for Truck, Tractor and OTR Tire repairs.
These users are controlling their Airbags manually.
The digital instrumentation is clear and easily readable.
The maximum Heating Temperature and Curing Time can be set
quickly and easily. (Maximum
Curing Temperature is programmed to 300°F/140°C.) The
Audio Alarm will sound when Heatpads overheat. |

HEATPADS AND AIRBAGS FOR Vulcaflex® AND OTHER FLEXIBLE SYSTEMS
VULCAN-VULCAP now manufactures a full
range of Thermocouple Heatpads and Airbags for all Strap, Flexible, OTR and
Truck Tire Repair Systems. Our Heatpads are fully compatible with MONARCH,
NATIONAL or VULCAN systems. They are equipped with the
proper plugs for each system they are ordered for. These pads generally
are more rugged than pads manufactured by other companies and have a
reputation for outlasting others.
For certain applications, we do have L-shaped Heatpads that conform to the
shoulder of the tire to be repaired. These pads are better than thin,
flat pads as they are already contoured for the shoulder of the tire.

Unique to the Vulcaflex® trademark series of Heatpads which are also compatible with other flexible systems such as Monaflex and National, are our L-shaped Heatpads shown below. These L-shaped Heatpads are molded to shape to conform better to the tire when performing shoulder repairs. Vulcatherm® Thermocouple
Repair Unit
When a Thermocouple wire
is broken or damaged and not functioning properly, this repair unit will keep
you operating. It is put on top of
the Heatpad and plugged into the control unit instead of the original
Thermocouple Plug.
It will control the temperature of your Heatpad.
The unit is supplied with a 60” long Thermocouple wire.
