VULCAN-VULCAP Hydraulic Treadmolders are available in standard sizes or can be custom designed to suit your needs.
- Available in steam or thermal oil, with fully automatic hydraulic "C" Frame designs for fast heat transfer and uniform temperature.
- Custom designed Treadmolders can be built up to 36', your choice of Daylights, Platen widths, curing pressures and temperatures to meet your exact needs.
- Standard Treadmolders can produce lengths of tread from 12 feet to 36 feet with Platen widths from 12 inches (304 mm) to 19 inches (483 mm).
- The VULCAN-VULCAP Treadmolders are of heavy-duty modular construction to permit molding pressures up to 500 psi on a 14-inch (356 mm) width. Tests have shown the standard rubber pressure of 350 psi/10" (254 mm) is required for molding precure treads. However, optional rubber pressure requirements of 500 psi/14" (equal to 700 psi/10") contact with 19" platen width is readily achieved in the modular design concept with stresses below conventionally allowable values and minimal deflections.
